COURSE FOUNDER

Vanquish Training Academy exists because of a course Michael Chandler wrote for our own operatives.

In 2011 the group's close protection work created a problem: investigating threats against clients required surveillance skills the industry simply wasn't teaching. Rather than outsource it, Michael; a British security and counter-intelligence specialist and now Chief Operating Officer of The Vanquish Group; wrote the course himself and taught it internally.

Word spread. Applications began arriving from operatives who didn't work for us, then from people overseas, and the training division became Vanquish Training Academy. Michael later published The Real Guide to Surveillance, which sells to aspiring security and surveillance operatives worldwide, followed by Technical Surveillance Countermeasures and The Art of Protection.

He has since stepped back from instructing, but the courses he built remain the entry route into the group. We still recruit exclusively from our own academy, and candidates still have to apply.
