The World renowned 21 Day Vanquish Close Protection Training Course is considered one of the best civilian bodyguard courses that exist and is now coming to Dubai. It not only covers the basic minimum SIA Level 3 requirements to enable attendees to ascertain their SIA licence, but also includes Map Reading, The 5 Day Advance Surveillance, The 2 Day Bug Sweeping and The Counter & Anti Surveillance Courses all written by Michael Chandler, The author of The Real Guide To Surveillance and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures.
This course demonstrates how to be an effective CPO whilst recognising covert surveillance skills and gives attendees the ability to protect by exercising intelligence acquisition methods along with traditional security skills and procedures. However, the course will be adapted slightly to meet legal requirements and restrictions in the UAE.
From this course, you will gain qualifications which enable you to apply for your SIA Close Protection Licence, Private Investigator License (once issued by the SIA), Firearms Drills a Diploma in Bug Sweeping (TSCM) and the a number of First Aid Qualifications.

Our course is application only which means that there is a brief application/ telephone interview process which enables us to ensure that we have the right calibre of people attend. For each course, we receive between 60-100 applications and we only accept between 4-6 applicants. The reason we do this is because Vanquish® Investigation Services and Vanquish® Security Services ONLY recruit from these courses.
We will hold 1 open day where we invite all interested course candidates to our training centre where they will learn about the organisation and how Vanquish® operate, recruitment and the course itself. APPLICATION ONLY
The Vanquish® Close Protection course is the World's first "Application Only" Close Protection Training Course. The reason for this is because as of 6th August 2016, our sister company (Vanquish Security) will not recruit anyone unless they have successfully passed one of our courses.

A) Not at all. Our courses are designed for those with and without military and police experience.
Q) What time does the course start and finish?
A) The start time is always 09:30 but the finish time varies every day but is usually around 17:30

A) Yes. This course is SIA approved.

Bug Sweeping
Also written by Michael Chandler, this course was set up to train operatives on an international scale, the art of Bug Sweeping also known as, Technical Surveillance Counter Measures or TSCM.
TSCM is a skill set that not all Bodyguards can boast but is a very useful one to have. Most attacks are planned and therefore, a principle is very likely to be monitored in one way or another which is why electronic monitoring or Technical Surveillance, should be something that a modern day bodyguard is able to detect.
This is a 2 day course which is becoming very popular and is incorporated into the 21 Day Vanquish Close Protection Course.

Advanced Surveillance
The 5 Day Advanced Surveillance Course was initially written to train current security staff of Vanquish Security to enable them to conduct covert surveillance ops to the high standards set out by the company.
Word spread quickly and before we knew it, Vanquish had set up a special training division, later to become Vanquish Training Academy, to take on all applicants who wanted to attend the highly demanding course.
Michael Chandler who wrote the course, later went on to publish The Real Guide to Surveillance which sells to aspiring security & surveillance operatives World Wide.
Although Michael has stepped down as course instructor, people still come from all over the globe to attend.
15 Day Close Protection
This 15 day course covers the minimum requirements in order for you to qualify for the SIA Close Protection Licence. It is part of The Vanquish 21 Day Close Protection Course but without the surveillance, bug sweeping and counter surveillance aspects of it.
Passing this course will grant you eligibility to work for Vanquish Security but not Vanquish Investigation Services. However, you can progress to these other aspects later on in your career should you decide to work for us.
